Irish Nachos
A
platter of McCain® seasoned
waffle fries topped with shredded Jack and cheddar cheeses, crumbled bacon,
diced tomatoes and chopped scallions served with tangy thousand island dressing
for dipping.
Makes 6-10 servings
Ingredients
1 bag | McCain® Seasoned Waffle Fries |
8 ounces | shredded Jack and cheddar cheeses |
4 strips | crisp cooked bacon, crumbled |
½ cup | diced tomato, seeds removed |
¼ cup | chopped scallions |
1 cup | thousand island dressing |
Directions
Cook bacon in advance, drain on paper towel-lined plate. Cool and crumble, set aside.
Preheat oven to desired temperature.
Prepare waffle fries according to package directions.
Remove fries from the oven. Place on serving platter and top with shredded cheese to melt lightly.
Top with diced tomato, crumbled bacon and chopped scallions. Serve with thousand island dip.
