COOKING GUIDELINES
NOTE: COOK TO LIGHT GOLDEN COLOR.
Cooking times vary depending on appliance power. Watch carefully during the final minutes of preparation. When cooking smaller amounts, reduce cooking time. Do not overcook! Product must be fully cooked for safety and quality.
Shredded Hash Browns (WITH OIL)
(RECOMMENDED METHOD):
Heat 3 tablespoons of cooking oil in skillet to medium heat (350°F). Carefully add a single layer of potatoes. Cover with a lid & fry for 10 – 12 minutes, turning once for uniform cooking. Season to taste & serve immediately.
*A non-stick spray may be used in place of oil. If non-stick spray is not used it is recommended to use non-hydrogenated liquid cooking oil.
Shredded Hash Browns (WITH WATER)
Preheat a non-stick skillet over medium heat (350°F). Carefully add a single layer of potatoes to skillet with 3 tablespoons of water. Cover with a lid & fry 10 to 12 minutes, turning once for uniform cooking. Season to taste & serve immediately.
