Onion Ring and Garlic and Mozzarella Chicken Sausage Sandwich
A filling sandwich that brings together classic favorites for a totally new dish.
Ingredients
Chipotle Honey Mustard
½ cup | Honey mustard |
¼ cup | Mayonnaise |
¼ teaspoon | Chipotle powder |
6 | Roasted garlic & mozzarella chicken sausage links found in hot dog/smoked sausage/deli meat area of grocery store |
½ bag | McCain® Craft Beer Battered Onion Rings |
6 | Pretzel buns, warm |
½ cup | Baby spinach, raw |
Directions
Preheat oven to 475°F.
Heat a grill pan over medium heat or preheat outdoor grill.
- To make sauce, add all ingredients in a bowl; whisk to combine.
Bake onion rings according to package instructions.
Grill sausages for 8-10 minutes or until heated through. Let rest and cut in half lengthwise.
For each sandwich: Spread top and bottom of each pretzel bun with 1.5 teaspoons chipotle honey mustard, top with sliced sausage, 2 tablespoons spinach and 3-4 onion rings, close and serve warm.
