Ham ’n’ Cheese Fries
Loaded up crispy McCain® Classic Fries with hunks of ham and shreds of melty cheddar—even better with a tangy green onion sour cream.
Makes 4-6 servings
Ingredients
1 bag | McCain® Classic Fries |
2 ounces | ½” Thick Cut Smoked Ham |
2 ounces | Shredded Cheddar Cheese |
2 ounces | Green Onion Sour Cream Dip (optional recipe follows) |
Green Onion Sour Cream
2 cups | sour cream |
2 tablespoons | chopped green onion |
Mix until fully combined. |
Directions
Prepare McCain® Classic Fries according to package directions.
Cut ham into ½” cubes.
When fries are cooked, transfer to a stainless steel bowl, add shredded cheddar cheese and toss gently, then sprinkle with the diced ham.
Place the loaded fries back on a baking tray or an ovenable plate and melt cheese for approximately 1-2 minutes.
Transfer to a plate, and optionally top with green onion sour cream.
